SNAP-N-FILL® RECLOSABLES
In 1991 PIZ Industries introduced SNAP-N-FILL® Reclosables, the very first High Clarity LDPE saddle pack reclosable deli bag. For the first time high volume service delicatessen operators had a viable alternative to the translucent non-reclosable high density poly bags on saddles or headers. A few operators were using the reclosable bags, but not on saddles and desperately needed a dispensing system to speed up the bagging function.
The PIZ Product was so unique a patent was issued!
The Piz SNAP-N-FILL® Product was designed especially for high volume supermarket service deli use. The bag opens as it is dispensed from the saddle pack and is quickly and easily filled and closed, even while wearing slippery plastic gloves.
The easy open - easy close zipper extruded as part of the bag is the only zipper developed and manufactured for service deli use. Other manufacturers utilize older technology industrial bag making equipment and their zippers are typically very hard to open and close. Some suppliers attempt to ship bags with the zippers open and thus avoid infringing on the PIZ patent. Problems arise when some of the zippers close during transit and some that do stay open are impossible to close because the zipper tracks were not aligned when manufactured.
Although our zipper is very easy to open, it securely locks your product inside when closed. You see, our zipper is asymmetrically designed so it is easy to open from the outside, but difficult to open from the inside.
